August 14-15, 2025

Spend 2 days with me in Toronto and Niagara Falls!

August 14 - Toronto

I spent most of the morning exploring the city, and got noodles for lunch at Chinatown. After lunch, I went to the Royal Ontario Museum.

I was especially drawn to the interior design section, and had the opportunity to explore interior design throughout different time periods. I also saw ancient Egyptian tombs, Greek and Roman statues, East Asian porcelain and pottery, and more. I finished this museum in about 3-4 hours, and highly recommend it.

After that, I walked along the lakefront, which reminded me of Chicago.

I also saw the CN tower…

…and took WAY too many pictures of the skyline.

For dinner, I had roti. One of my favorite things about Toronto is the food scene, especially exploring different cuisines.

August 15 - Niagara Falls

After visiting Toronto, I visited Niagara Falls - which straddles the US/Canada border. I found it surreal how one side of the falls was in the US and the other in Canada, and got some pictures of its breathtaking beauty:

After visiting the falls, we ate at Hakkalicious, a restaurant known for Hakka cuisine. I really liked the aesthetic and ambience of this restaurant. I ordered pad thai, but I also tried hot garlic chicken and chili chicken. I just really like Asian food in general (I may be biased).
